It takes a thousand steps away from where you belong to discover your true self. The earth rotates itself at the same time circling the sun. You wouldn’t felt the earth’s movement by standing still on the surface of earth. You have to go out to the space in to the vacuum darkness and a condition with no OXYGEN. Almost always the case, one being outside of your comfort zone will learn a lot more lesson than one being inside.



I love running when I was a kid. I am a fast one too. I am skinny and yet healthy. Back then, it was always my parents who will force me to eat some rice to increase my body weight. During that age of high metabolism, everything I eat will be furiously converted into energy and no fat left behind. This explains much of my energetic behaviours. I am very close to nature when I was a kid. I would go running to the beach to explore everything the universe has to offer. In my own way, I felt that life was quiet adventurous. Fishing is always enjoying even when there’s no catch. I learn making my first wooden fishing rod when I was 8.
Just besides the old house, there is a small sheds that granpa used to stored peeled coconuts. There, me and my cousins will spend the whole evening playing around, hanging on the wooden beams and aim birds with slingshots until its dark. Almost always every time our parents have to drag us from the sheds forcing to take bath. Electric supply is generated by diesel engine. So from 10 onwards, there will be no electricity. Which also mean, no tv. Bedtime story is always fun to hear when you have nothing, no other visual animated technology. The beauty of it is it does not have any boundary of your imaginations. It improves your ability to imagine, to be innovative and creative. It stimulates visual that only you can perceive.



Mother turtle lays eggs which later become little baby turtles. They will find their way to the ocean after they hatched. But, the nature has its way to control the population. Not all of the eggs will hatched, not all of the baby turtle will find its way to the ocean, not all of the baby turtle will survive in the oceans. Same goes to human. Babies are born almost every minute from all around the world. But not all will be lucky enough to have a comfort living. There will have to show some effort to be in one. Life is challenging. Everything that revolves around life will have its own unique way to deal it with. Until then, keep going ahead into a direction.

I miss those days as much as I want to go back for a visit, I will not change a thing about it not even the mistakes that I have made during my childhood, because with that mistakes I have made, I am what I am now. A better person than before.
